I Need More Time

You'd think that since I started crafting for people's Christmas this past January that I would be ahead of the game. Yeah, no. I kept thinking, "Oh, I got started early, I've got plenty of time." That was a stupid stupid thing to think. I've only got four days left, three for my dad's side of the family and I've got a list of things to finish. I haven't even cut the material out for my step-dad's pajama pants.

I partly blame the kiddos. They love to get into things now, but it's not their fault. I miss the time before they were crawling. Set them on a blanket for their "tummy time" and I had all the time in the world while they napped next to me. And at the time, I was like, "I can't wait until they start walking and we can have fun!" I didn't think about all the changes that would bring. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that we can run outside and play kickball and soccer and tag and stuff, but I miss that time.

This past Saturday we took them to get their two-year old pictures and Christmas photos. The disc was too expensive for us this year, but I thiefed them from the sears website for your viewing pleasure.

Birthday photos, five months late.

Sheesh!

Gah. I'm a bad blogger. A very bad blogger. Time to step it up.
